Operational Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Operational Manager.

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our aquatic centre, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide their team members towards achieving our goals.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and experiences, with a focus on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all users. They will also have a strong commitment to safety and quality, with a focus on maintaining high standards in all aspects of our operations.

In addition to their operational responsibilities, the successful candidate will also contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing our services and improving user satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for operational management, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of daily operations, including staff supervision and coordination
  • Development and implementation of operational strategies and plans
  • Collaboration with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures
  • Effective communication and liaison with stakeholders, including users, staff, and external partners
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operational management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Professional certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Pool Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain)
