Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Solutions Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development and be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About the Role

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and business value, helping prospective customers understand how Orkes can solve their challenges. You will work closely with sales, customer support, product, and engineering teams to drive deals to closure and ensure customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Gain a deep understanding of Orkes' platform, architecture, and capabilities to act as a subject matter expert.
  • Partner with sales representatives to engage with prospects, assess their needs, and provide tailored demonstrations of Orkes solutions.
  • Lead compelling presentations, technical deep-dives, and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to showcase the value of Orkes to diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and design effective solutions leveraging Orkes' platform.
  • Map customer requirements to rapidly visualize compelling solutions leveraging Orkes' platform capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
