As a Mine Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our on-site coal testing laboratory at Byerwen. This key leadership position demands strong organizational skills, with a focus on ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Site Safety Executive in monitoring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Identifying and reporting hazards, conducting inspections, and submitting SAO's to the Byerwen System.
  • Investigating incidents and making recommendations for improved work practices.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, customers, suppliers, government agencies, neighbors, and the community.
  • Managing procurement and freight of parts and services to ensure fixed plant and equipment services are delivered.
Requirements
  • Hold RII competencies for light vehicle and laboratory equipment S1,2 & 3 G2.
  • Have previous experience operating onsite laboratories.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, including basic spreadsheets.
  • Display strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of laboratory operations.
