Job Title:

Mine Operations Manager


About the Role:

This leadership position oversees the entire mine site operation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient management of resources.


Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage adherence to Queensland health and safety laws and regulations
  • Identify hazards and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence
  • Ensure effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, customers, suppliers, and community members
  • Manage procurement and freight of parts and services for fixed plant and equipment

Requirements:
  • Rii competencies in light vehicle and laboratory equipment S1, 2 & 3 G2
  • Previous experience in operating onsite laboratories
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including basic spreadsheeting
  • Mathematical and analytical principles
  • Familiarity with environmental authorities and plans of operations
