Job Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our water and sewer team. In this role, you will operate, maintain and construct water and sewer infrastructure to meet health, environmental and council standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor and maintain all facets of water and sewerage infrastructure including scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the construction of new water and sewer infrastructure, respond to system issues and complete workplace documentation.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (NWP30215) or equivalent trade-based qualification.
  • Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrated understanding of water supply and sewerage system operation, maintenance and construction practices.
  • Developed skills in laying water and sewer mains and associated construction activities.
  • Fault-finding skill techniques as appropriate to water supply and sewerage systems.
  • Ability to use personal computer and Microsoft software packages including Word, Excel and GIS/mapping software programs.
Benefits

This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week. The total remuneration package commences at $77,319 gross per annum, comprising base salary and superannuation.
