We are seeking a skilled and reliable Container Mechanic to join our team at Its-Technology-Co-Ltd. This role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of containers, as well as domestic and intermodal equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs on containers, domestic, and intermodal equipment.
  • Select and work with appropriate materials for welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Layout, cut, align, and fit components for welding and painting.
  • Bolt, clamp, tack-weld, or otherwise secure parts in place for repair.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment to complete necessary repairs.
  • Replace, repair, and install tire and wheel components as needed.
  • Conduct general depot maintenance and assist with various repair duties.
  • Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks and install/remove plywood flooring.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, general repairs, and container upkeep, with a strong attention to detail and safety.

The selected candidate will be required to lift up to 50lbs and possess a valid driver's license. Additionally, they must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in container repair or a similar mechanical/welding role.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in metal fabrication and repair.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor/industrial environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
