We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Director to lead our team at Windsor Neighbourhood Childcare Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program for children from six weeks old to those in the year before prep.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment that promotes their social, personal, respectful, spiritual, creative, and confident growth.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families, and promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
- Manage and develop the skills of the team, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver high-quality care and education.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- A strong understanding of Child Care legislation, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
- Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
