Job Description

The Assistant Financial Controller is a key supporting role in the leadership of the global controllership function.

This position plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and continuously improving finance operations across a global business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Group Financial Controller in overseeing the global controllership function.
  • Manage daily operations including financial accounting, direct and indirect tax, regulatory and statutory reporting activities across locations.
  • Lead regional finance team members, ensuring clarity of deliverables and effective communication.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous development.
  • Monitor monthly close process across global entities, ensuring compliance with deadlines, reporting standards, and internal control requirements.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting prepared by regional teams.
