Senior Manager Role

This pivotal position will drive the future of Australia's central bank. The Financial Markets Group (FMG) is responsible for implementing the Reserve Bank's operations in domestic and international financial markets.

  • About the Team: FMG plays a key role in executing monetary policy, managing foreign exchange reserves, and maintaining relationships with global institutions. Its core functions include Domestic Markets, International Department, and Financial Markets Business Support Services.

We are seeking an experienced leader to join the Financial Markets Business Support Services (FMBSS) team, which provides essential operational support, change delivery, data governance, and delivery across financial markets, domestic and international businesses, and partner departments.

About the Role: As the Senior Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team reporting to the Deputy Head of FMBSS. You will be responsible for leading teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services aligned with the Bank's strategic goals, driving a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and service enhancements.

  • Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop teams to deliver critical services to financial markets, domestic, and international businesses; drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence; manage budgets, people, and processes with a strong focus on compliance and quality assurance.
