
Strategic Cybersecurity Solutions Advisor

The Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in shaping technical solutions that address customer business imperatives and ensure value realization of their investment. This evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role aligns how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance, and ensuring value realization.
">Key Responsibilities- Meet sales quotas by developing strategic, technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
- Understand customer business requirements and position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the entire portfolio creating business value.
- Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform, building relationships to increase productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility to innovate.
- Conduct discovery to understand and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
- Work closely with teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption of solutions.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, influencing through presentations and demos, and conducting technical engagements and workshops.
- Lead successful validation efforts based on best practices to ensure technical win in assigned opportunities.
- Cross-functional leadership driving collaboration and orchestrating resources to ensure a one-team approach.
- Promote end-to-end solutions including PANW and/or partner professional services to ensure business value sooner.
- Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW's leadership in the cybersecurity space.
- 6+ years in pre-sales/sales engineering.
- Strong understanding of data networking, security architectures, and modern cloud computing environments.
- Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
- Influencing stakeholders and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing network security, SASE, SASEC, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation Technologies.
- Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
