The Operational DER Management team plays a critical role in analyzing DER behaviors, developing power system models, applying these models to determine the impact of DER on power system security, and implementing management measures in our operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to develop innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.
  • Apply Python programming principles with a strong focus on test-driven development to ensure high-quality code.
  • Create control room visualization interfaces using SQL building blocks, packaged with Python, to provide real-time insights and improve decision-making capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and/or the energy industry, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  • Significant experience using Python to build complex systems, with a deep understanding of its applications and limitations.
  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills, including problem-solving, modeling, and critical thinking, to drive business growth and improvement.
