Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our Supply Chain team at Coles Group. As a key member of our Quality Management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the supply of great quality food from our suppliers to our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Quality Inspectors who check fresh produce, meat, dairy, and seafood as it comes into the Eastern Creek distribution centre.
- Collaborate with other Quality Managers to develop and compare continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach, lead, and develop a medium-sized diverse team.
- Summarize and prioritize key supplier performance issues to drive supplier performance improvements.
- Partner with Distribution Centre teams to ensure a safe and productive workplace.
- Review and highlight opportunities for improvement based on data from arrival and shelf-life assessments, as well as store feedback and audit results.
We are looking for a candidate with proven people leadership and management experience. You will also have a Science tertiary education qualification, strong team management and leadership experience, and technical skills and know-how. Additionally, you will have knowledge of the Food Standards Code and experience working with multiple products across produce and fresh foods.
