Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at Monash University. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive life-cycle analysis of low carbon products and processes, with a focus on developing and validating rigorous methods to confirm the carbon intensity of these products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement life-cycle analysis methods to assess the carbon intensity of low carbon products and processes
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving the sustainability of these products
  • Collaborate with industry partners and academic researchers to develop and validate life-cycle analysis methods
  • Present research findings and results to stakeholders, including industry partners and academic peers

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong background in life-cycle analysis and sustainability assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and circular economy
