
Senior Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist

- The role of the Senior Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist is accountable for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality completion of road construction and maintenance activities.
- This position requires a collaborative approach with the Works Overseer in overseeing all activities of the infrastructure team to ensure service standards, objectives, and priorities are met.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising the team in the construction of quality infrastructure services.
- Ensuring Council plant and equipment is operated as required, in accordance with licenses held.
- Coordinating the evaluation of services and materials required for use.
- Performing Traffic Control Management duties and ensuring temporary warning signs are in place.
- Operating plant, tools, and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
This role requires a current and valid Heavy Combination (HC) Licence with experience, as well as a Construction Induction Certificate (White Card). The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in civil construction activities associated with signs, culverts, potholes, roadside furniture, and footpaths, and the construction of kerbs and gutters.
Required Skills and QualificationsA successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. They will also have strong technical knowledge and skills in civil construction, including experience with heavy machinery and equipment operation.
The ideal candidate will hold a current and valid Heavy Combination (HC) Licence, as well as a Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
