
Experienced Infrastructure Professional Wanted

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to join our infrastructure team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring that road construction and maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist and support in supervising all activities of the team to ensure service standards, objectives, and priorities are met;
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of culverts, signs, table drains, corridor clearing, footpaths, kerb and Guttering, fencing, guidepost, and roadside furniture;
- Supervise the team in the construction of quality infrastructure services in accordance with agreed service levels;
- Ensure that plant and equipment is operated as required, in accordance with licenses held;
- Display effective supervision of staff and resources to ensure the requirements and objectives of the team are met;
- Perform Traffic Control Management duties as required and ensure that necessary temporary warning signs are in place and visible in accordance with Traffic Control Plans prior to commencement of works;
- Hold a current and valid Heavy Combination (HC) Licence with experience;
- Hold a Construction Induction Certificate (White Card);
- Demonstrated experience in civil construction activities associated with signs, culverts, potholes, roadside furniture, and footpaths, and the construction of kerbs and gutters;
- Demonstrated knowledge of WHS practices and ability to actively encourage and promote a safe working environment;
- Good verbal communications skills and the capacity to deal with employees and the public effectively;
- Demonstrated experience in supervising staff, allocating work, and managing plant and materials.
