Project Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Officer to join our Immunisation Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in helping us reduce vaccine-preventable diseases in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in project management, public health or policy, and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. They will be proactive, passionate about community health and able to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of national vaccination training programs.
  • Assist ACCHOs in accessing grants and resources to boost immunisation rates.
  • Contribute to the delivery of culturally safe and community-first solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, public health or policy.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities (highly valued).
  • A proactive mindset and a heart for community health.
