At a leading innovator in self-driving cars, we're revolutionizing the world with our innovative Spectrum-Scan LiDAR technology.

We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Specialist to join our Advanced Manufacturing team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and calibrating production equipment, building prototype rigs, and implementing manufacturing line improvements and repairs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing scheduled calibration and maintenance activities of production rigs and equipment
  • Building new prototype and manufacturing rigs to current standards and design intent
  • Updating/ modifying existing rigs for new products and to implement approved engineering changes
  • Creating and updating rig drawings and calibration and maintenance documentation
  • Performing repairs of manufacturing rigs and assembly equipment

Requirements include:

  • Commercial experience in calibration and maintenance of assembly and test equipment
  • Hands-on experience in a workshop (milling, laser cutting, 3D printing, working as a tradie/mechanic)
  • High school or higher degree in Mechatronics

Desirable skills include experience in hand tools and light machinery, prototyping equipment, and manufacturing experience.
