Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced hardware solutions that support our mission to create impactful AI systems for environmental applications.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative drilling components, drive R&D projects from concept to field trials and production, oversee design verification, FEA, material selection, and testing under extreme conditions, and collaborate with field teams, geologists, and suppliers to refine hardware performance.

The ideal candidate will have a BEng or higher in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years of experience in mechanical design for drilling, mining, or oil & gas equipment, and proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks), FEA tools, and tolerance stack-up analysis. Knowledge of hydraulics, wear-resistant materials, and extreme environment design is also essential. Field experience with drill rigs or tooling is preferred, as well as familiarity with manufacturing for small-batch prototyping and harsh field deployment.
