We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Architecture team as a Group Manager – Enterprise Technology and Architecture Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of AGL's enterprise technology landscape and lead the end-to-end architecture for our technology services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Architecture practices across all architecture domains and functions, including the architecture framework, engagement model, cost models, architecture recovery rates, governance model, service catalogue, accelerators, and guardrails.
- Define the medium-term technology architecture and develop the longer-term Technology strategy and planning activities for Retail and Energy technology.
- Lead and grow a talented team of Principal and Solution Architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and innovation. Provide mentorship and empower your team to continuously improve architecture practices.
- Trusted advisor to the CIO, GM Architecture, and broader Technology leadership team.
- Work with other practices and guilds to continually improve end-to-end efficiency and value of architecture.
- Continuously review and optimise architecture practices, accelerators, and guardrails. Use emerging technologies and industry trends to guide executive decision-making and ensure that AGL remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a deep understanding of architecture disciplines and frameworks. You will have a proven track record of establishing architecture practices and developing multi-year technology implementation plans for a large portfolio of enterprise technology and tools.
- Proven experience as an architecture manager, practice lead or senior enterprise architect.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, business architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, application architecture, integration architecture, and technology architecture.
- Experience with systems such as SAP ERP, Workday, Adobe Marketing tool, ITSM, and employee technology.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate high-performing teams and foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including educating and influencing senior stakeholders and negotiating better outcomes.
