Role Purpose
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to support the Director of Enterprise Architecture in defining and developing the organization's enterprise architecture.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the integration of enterprise architecture processes with other business and IT processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the organization's technology architecture, strategy, and roadmaps to align with business goals and objectives.
- Support the effective delivery of architecture services, including business planning, IT strategy development, and project delivery.
- Promote enterprise architecture processes, outcomes, and results to the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions, platforms, and tools to improve operational efficiency, performance, and security.
- Develop IT architecture processes, policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and adherence to industry best practices.
- Support the uplift of enterprise architecture practice and provide input into the architecture community of practice.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in strategy, technology, or digital leadership, with 3+ years as a functional lead involved in the active development of enterprise architecture in a large corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, is essential.
Experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and traditional infrastructure is also required.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in identifying, researching, evaluating, and recommending new and emerging technologies.
Postgraduate qualifications or study in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or Commerce are desirable.
