Job Details:

This is a permanent full-time position, working on a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts, with four days on followed by four days off.

The Role Overview:

As a skilled machine operator, you will play a vital role in the production process, operating machinery and equipment to meet quality standards.

  • Develop expertise in all aspects of machine operation, including winding, finishing, quality processes and systems.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Evaluate work processes regularly and contribute to identifying improvements.
Key Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you will have prior experience operating machinery within an industrial environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

  • A mechanical aptitude is necessary, with a trade or technical qualification highly regarded.
  • Hold relevant qualifications, such as HNC Paper Technology, which would be advantageous.
  • Be able to work a 12-hour rotating roster, with four days on followed by four days off.
  • Experience operating a forklift and holding a current forklift license is mandatory.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Show proven ability to work in physically demanding environments.
