As a seasoned Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading our expansion into new and developing markets. With expertise in machinery such as stackers, reclaimers, excavators, minerals processing plant, mobile mining machinery, underground mining, draglines, belt conveyors, rolling stock, ship loaders, port machinery, cranes etc., you will be instrumental in delivering projects and maintaining our reputation for superior quality technical work.
Key to this role is your ability to perform professional technical work with considerable independence, originality, ingenuity and judgement. You will also serve as a technical specialist for the organisation, giving advice to management and business units and directing or advising on use of equipment or material.
With a strong network of existing customers and a proven track record in sales and business development, you will drive growth and success within our team. As a thought leader, you will contribute to advancing our business through your work, authoring papers and presenting at events, seminars and conferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in machinery design, engineering and project delivery
- Strong knowledge of local and international governing design codes
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant area of study
- Minimum 15 years' experience post-graduation
- Relevant registration with recognised engineering/environmental body
- Demonstrated experience in sales and business development
