This is a full-time maternity contract (6 months) working 5 days per week, 38 hours per week. Reporting to the Southern Clerical Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the site Clerical Team, as well as any Clerical Rovers
  • Providing support and mentoring to the site reception teams
  • Offering continuous training and development to site reception teams
  • Exceeding patient and referrer expectations through excellent customer service delivery
  • Utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills to demonstrate care, compassion, and empathy towards patients
  • Maintaining excellent attention to detail to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Overseeing diary management
  • Ensuring practice and clerical appearance standards are upheld
  • Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills to build partnerships and foster collaborative relationships across the business
  • Working autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Displaying a 'can-do' attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff, and professionals easily
  • Committing to ongoing professional development and embracing learning opportunities
  • Performing other duties as directed by the Administration Services Manager, Clerical Manager, and RIC

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in radiology administration is essential for this role
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is desirable, showcasing your ability to lead teams and drive excellence
  • Able to support the team and practices with your leadership abilities
  • Experience using RIS platforms, ideally Karisma, is advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of all radiology billing policies and procedures, including Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, and Inpatient billing, is required
  • A strong focus on completing high-quality work and maintaining attention to detail is necessary
  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet targets are expected

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 AUD annually, depending on experience.
