About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Radiology division in Australia. As an MSL, you will play a key role in establishing strong relationships with key physicians, scientists, and diagnostic providers to ensure they have access to relevant scientific information.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the radiology community;
  • Disseminating and discussing scientific and clinical data to drive awareness of Bayer's radiology products and diagnostic modalities;
  • Providing medical and scientific expertise to support the development of strategic business plans;
  • Contributing to the organization of advisory boards and medical educational events;
  • Gathering competitive intelligence to inform brand strategy;
  • Supporting the implementation of medical affairs strategies at the field level;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop and execute business plans.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in radiology, with experience in medical imaging, contrast agents, radiopharmaceuticals, or related fields;
  • An advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as MD, PhD, PharmD, DVM, MSc, or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or scientific role within the pharmaceutical, medical imaging, biotechnology, or medical device sector;
  • Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting scientific data and academic writing;
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with thorough attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders;
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
