Principal Environmental Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Environmental Scientist to join our Impact Assessment and Approvals team in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality environmental impact assessments and approvals for a range of projects across various markets, including Power, Mining, Transport, and Defence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage environmental impact assessments and approvals for high-profile projects, working closely with industry specialists and management teams.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of environmental impact assessments and approvals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance on environmental matters.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating change through planning, design, and approval processes.
- Support the growth and development of our business, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in environmental planning and approvals.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, such as environmental science.
- Strong experience in environmental impact assessment, approvals, or planning approvals across multiple market sectors, with a good industry reputation.
- Demonstrated experience working on major projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills, with commercial acumen to effectively manage resources, timelines, quality, and budgets.
- Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to develop and maintain positive peer and client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
