Job DescriptionWe seek an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Malaga, WA. This key role involves delivering expert service and support to valued customers, ensuring hydraulic systems operate at peak performance. Responsibilities include:
- Responding to external service requests; performing fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems.
- Installing, commissioning, and testing large hydraulic projects, ensuring high-quality standards and system performance.
- Preparing service quotations and managing documentation (service reports, quality records, customer deliverables).
- Conducting proactive system analysis and recommending maintenance or modernisation solutions to customers.
- Identifying spare parts and service opportunities to support ongoing customer needs and drive service growth.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen status.
- Trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in field service and/or hydraulic system maintenance.
- Strong hydraulic system knowledge and diagnostic ability.
- High attention to quality, safety, and detail.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
