Electrical Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for engineering projects.

  • This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in electrical systems and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industry standards and practices, as well as experience in Low Voltage (LV) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Power systems and earthing systems. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience preferably in the Telecommunications, Mining, Oil & Gas, Rail, Utilities or Defence sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports as needed.
  • Provide support in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Identify and address potential risks in electrical designs.
  • Assist in optimising electrical processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional electrical engineering experience preferably in the Telecommunications, Mining, Oil & Gas, Rail, Utilities or Defence sector.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Experience in Low Volatage (LV) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Power systems as well as earthing systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
