As a dedicated support professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
This position involves providing person-centred care and support to clients in their homes and within the community. You will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, accompanying them on outings, and promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing individualised support and care to clients with varying needs and abilities
- Assisting clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
- Accompanying clients on outings and activities, promoting social interaction and community participation
- Collaborating with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement person-centred plans
- Ensuring the safe and secure management of client funds and resources
- Current Australian Driver's License (provisional permitted)
- Car with insurance and registration
- NDIS Worker's Screening
- First Aid and CPR valid
- 100 points of ID
- Working with Children Check
- Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar
- Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 6 months relevant experience
- Previous experience supporting people living with a disability
- Demonstrated proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice
- Experience in community and/or high care setting
- Flexible working arrangements to assist individuals with previous commitments such as work, family and studies
- Above the minimum award pay rate for SCHADS
- Professional Development opportunities

- Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team for personal growth and exposure to opportunities
- Casual position with the opportunity for the right candidates to become permanent
