Senior SQL Database Specialist

This is a challenging role that involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust databases for a government financial services regulator.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database design, development, and management, as well as expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Designing and implementing efficient database solutions to support analytical and operational needs.
  • Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines using SSIS and deploying them via Microsoft DevOps.
  • Collaborating with the data modelling team to ensure database designs meet business requirements.

The successful candidate will be an Australian citizen based in Sydney and hold a baseline security clearance. They will also have advanced proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS, SSMS, and Microsoft DevOps.

This is a day rate contract for an initial 6-month period, with the possibility of extension. The location is Sydney CBD and WFH.
