Senior Database Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our team.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced database professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our large-scale databases.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing high-throughput PostgreSQL databases.
  • Implement replication, tuning, upgrades, patching, and backup strategies to ensure optimal database performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to automation and monitoring efforts.
  • Participate in High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) planning, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5–8 years' experience as a DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced expertise in PostgreSQL (replication, tuning, backup/recovery, partitioning).
  • Familiarity with RHEL (preferably RHEL 9), clustering, and shell scripting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience with Oracle (Exadata/ODA, OEM, patching/migrations).
  • Familiarity with Commvault, pgBackRest, or equivalent backup solutions.
  • Understanding of networking basics (firewalls, routing, protocols).
