Heavy Duty Fitter Role

This is a challenging opportunity for experienced heavy duty fitters to join our project teams across various sites. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of heavy mobile equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime

  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and resolve complex mechanical and hydraulic problems

  • Conduct regular maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety protocols are followed

  • Provide excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualifications:

  • Australian recognized trade certificates in heavy vehicle or mobile plant mechanics

  • Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing heavy mobile equipment

  • Skills:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and fault-find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
