Heavy Mobile Equipment Technician

The successful candidate will join our team as a Heavy Mobile Equipment Technician responsible for conducting routine inspections, servicing and repairs to ensure the optimal performance of our fleet of heavy mobile equipment.

Duties:

  • Conduct daily pre-operational checks to identify potential issues
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with a focus on safety and quality
  • Perform repairs and modifications to heavy mobile equipment using a range of tools and techniques
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in a relevant field such as Diesel Fitting or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology required
  • Desirable licenses: Forklift (LF), Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Crane, Dogging, and Basic Rigging
