About the Opportunity
The City of Gold Coast is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping and sustaining our Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role requires a strong focus on Exchange and SharePoint administration, including hybrid configurations, migration strategies, and governance frameworks to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and optimize core services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD.
- Lead the implementation of complex Microsoft 365 or cloud transformation projects.
- Develop and implement advanced knowledge of SharePoint architecture, site collections, permissions, and governance best practices.
- Provide expert-level support for M365 security, compliance, governance, and automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years' experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft 365 environments with a strong emphasis on Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
- Proven leadership in delivering complex Microsoft 365 or cloud transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in Exchange hybrid deployments, mail flow, security, compliance, and retention policies.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration.
