Finance Officer, Mindil Beach Casino Resort

Delaware North is seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our team at the Mindil Beach Casino Resort. As a Finance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our business unit.
About the RoleThe Finance Officer will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our business unit, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. You will also oversee on-site finance activities, ensuring accurate financial performance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to ensure efficient processing of pay runs
- Maintain accurate data to ensure payroll runs smoothly
- Receive, process, and file all documentation with accuracy and meet required business deadlines and payment schedules
- Assist with other finance-related duties as necessary
- Hospitality or gaming finance experience is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated success in developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with payroll delivery across multiple locations and industrial instruments
- An understanding of and demonstrated commitment to principles of confidentiality and privacy
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in respect of Payroll, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, and superannuation
- Sound understanding of Industrial Relations Legislation and ability to interpret Award/Enterprise Agreements
- Ability to extract reports from Payroll Systems, analyze, and report on findings
- Problem-solving skills to assist with the development of robust solutions to system functionality issues and gaps
