Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring all areas of the complex, including the casino, hotel, and resort, restaurants, and bars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol areas of the complex and provide exceptional customer service to all patrons
  • Prepare for security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
  • Complete all tasks in line with Federal and Territory legislation
  • Report and prevent the entry of any patrons that cause disturbance
  • Provide first aid when required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Confident in communicating with the public and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient way
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Security License and Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government
  • First Aid certificate & CPR certificate
  • RSA & RSG Certificates
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Casino Operative's Licence
