Executive Chef Opportunity

Delaware North Australia is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our food operations, including high-volume production and à la carte dining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple busy kitchen outlets and banquet operations
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve culinary success
  • Lead menu planning initiatives, including banquet kits and seasonal menus
  • Coordinate teams to deliver large-scale events
  • Manage kitchen operations to achieve financial goals, profit margins, and business growth
  • Ensure adherence to HACCP standards and food safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a successful track record in managing large-scale kitchens
  • Competence in using business technology, including stock control systems and Microsoft platforms
  • Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques across international culinary styles
  • Culinary qualifications and a passion for food and creativity
  • Experience with menu setting and stock control
