Job DescriptionThe Graduate - Practice Support role works cooperatively within our organisation on a 12-month direct service delivery rotational employment program. Our aim is to deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate services to all children, families and carers.
This structured and purposeful program incorporates training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. You will have the chance to explore different program areas and apply your knowledge gained through education in a practical work environment.
Predominately, you will develop client-facing casework skills by shadowing casework staff across a range of programs providing better outcomes for children, families and carers.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity
- Completion of a qualification in the Social and Community Services area of study within the last 24 months
- Ability to engage vulnerable children, young people, their families and their carers in outreach work activities
Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain), and a Victorian Driver Licence.
