**Role Overview:**
The Queensland Government is seeking a skilled and dedicated Support Specialist to join its team. This exciting opportunity involves providing timely and effective support for the organization's desktop environment, business applications, and software.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide 1st Level support for desktop environment, business applications, Internet, intranet, software, and hardware
- Contribute to process mapping, documentation, and improvement of workflows for ICT support tools and automation platforms
- Support the testing and implementation of ICT support tools and automation solutions
- Assist in coordinating monitoring and reporting of initiative progress, risks, and outcomes
- Provide in-person advice and support to enhance user experience with unfamiliar technologies
- Contribute to governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge management assets
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of ITIL methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
