ICT Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT support professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ICT support, emphasizing workload management, task prioritization, and working unsupervised.

The successful candidate will have technical expertise in managing, configuring, monitoring, and implementing ICT environments in multiple domains. They will also possess experience delivering high-quality ICT support, interpersonal skills, and well-developed oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist in clarifying and prioritizing tasks, ensuring assigned priorities are met according to enterprise service levels.
  • Effectively supervise and manage visiting ICT support staff, adhering to unit and organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervise/mentor a technical team, adhering to unit and organizational goals, and procedures.
  • Work with minimal supervision, managing workloads, commuting to supported sites, and representing eHealth Queensland in communications with senior staff as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical expertise in managing, configuring, monitoring, and implementing ICT environments in multiple domains.
  • Experience delivering high-quality ICT support, emphasizing workload management, task prioritization, and working unsupervised.
  • Ability to identify and resolve ICT-related problems within Service Level Agreements.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes, and accountabilities.
  • Interpersonal skills and personal qualities facilitating good working relationships, including supervising/mentoring junior staff.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills for creating/maintaining system documentation, work instructions, and technical reports.
