**Job Description:**

We are seeking a talented and motivated Demi Chef to join our team. As a Demi Chef, you will play a key role in supporting all kitchen activities and preparing delicious food across an à la carte offering.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creating à la carte dining options that exceed guest expectations;

  • Managing supplies, equipment, and waste effectively to maintain a clean and organized workspace;

  • Developing your team through coaching and feedback, recognizing good performance and encouraging growth;

  • Maintaining cleanliness to meet or exceed HACCP requirements;

  • Assisting with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed;

  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as a true team player.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in a busy à la carte dining environment is preferred;

- Legal right to work full-time in Australia;

- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or Culinary Arts from a registered training provider;

- Current Safe Food Handling Certification;

- Excellent communication skills; warm, welcoming, and approachable;

- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and public holiday shifts;

- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach;

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload.
