Dedicated Support Worker Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team in Wollongong.
This is an exciting casual opportunity where you will be working on the front line of our Consumer Directed Services, delivering a wide range of services to support participants activities of daily living.
- Provide supports such as companionship, meal preparation, domestic assistance and medication management.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of care provided to participants.
About You
- A caring individual who is proactive, independent and able to follow direction from managers while working within a team.
- Flexible availability is highly desirable and you are committed to providing reliable, person-centered support.
- Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care or equivalent working or lived experience (desirable but not essential).
- A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle.
- Police Records Check (completed within the last 12 months).
- Working with Children Check.
- Manual handling training is desirable, but you will receive training if needed.
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course.
