Job Overview

This senior leadership position oversees the global accounting and reporting function, ensuring fiscal integrity, accuracy, and compliance across statutory, management, and corporate accounting processes.

The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, fostering engagement, capability development, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly group consolidation and management reporting, ensuring timeliness and adherence to global accounting standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate completion of statutory and Board reporting at half and full year, facilitating inputs from Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and People & Culture.
  • Lead corporate transactional accounting including Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Share-based payments, and Intercompany.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and control.
  • Own global finance policies and the Global Chart of Accounts, ensuring governance and compliance.
  • Provide accounting guidance for material transactions, new investments, and acquisitions.
Requirements:
  • CPA or CA qualification with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in listed company reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
  • Proven success in multinational group reporting and multicurrency consolidations.
  • Strong ERP system experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead transformational initiatives and process improvements.
