Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned laboratory professional to manage our Blackwater operations, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain quality control procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day management of the laboratory
  • Monthly reporting and budgeting
  • Maintenance of consumable stock levels
  • Equipment maintenance and calibration
  • QHSE training and toolbox talks
  • Workflow coordination and customer relationship management
  • Training program development and delivery
  • Routine test work and supervision
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of ISO 17025
  • Strong working knowledge of laboratory procedures and sampling techniques
  • Understanding and implementation of quality control and assurance procedures
  • Occupational, health, safety, and environmental principles and procedures
  • Ability to manage a large team in a dynamic environment
