Job Title:

Human Resource Officer

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to streamline processes, including recruitment, contracting, onboarding, offboarding, induction, training, performance management.
  • Provide guidance on policies and procedures relating to HR.
  • Support recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process through to second interview, including conducting qualifying interviews and testing.
  • Design and deliver training and development programs.
  • Assist with performance management processes.
  • Support management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an HR officer or administrator role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.).
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
  • BA/BSc in business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus.
