Water Infrastructure Specialist Role

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team where you will design and document work to industry standards by undertaking hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and calculations.

  • You will have the chance to prepare inputs into engineering reports, specifications, and other supporting design documentation.
  • Design outputs for industry-standard design drawings will be prepared, and collaboration with junior engineers to mentor and complete engineering works as required.
  • Working within client requirements and established industry practices is essential.
About You
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering (Civil) or a related discipline, with experience in drainage/flooding design of medium-large scale infrastructure projects is necessary.
  • Knowledge of ARR, Austroads drainage guidelines, and Australian Standards applicable to drainage infrastructure are crucial.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring younger staff is also expected.
  • Proficiency in 12D and/or DRAINS, TUFLOW is required, and experience using MUSCI, GIS, WBNM, RORB, RAFTS, and HEC-RAS is highly preferred.
