About this Role

We have an exciting permanent position available for a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist who will provide effective administrative services at our site.

The successful candidate will play a vital role as part of the team that provides operational support with a special focus on production and maintenance. Your key duties will include accurate data entry, purchasing processes, and generating reports for site management.

You'll have the opportunity to showcase your organisational skills by handling a wide variety of administrative tasks and ensuring smooth functioning across our site.

Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing effective, efficient, timely and accurate administrative services;
  • Managing phone calls, emails and correspondence from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate creation and maintenance of records and data;
  • Assisting with purchasing and managing the procurement of office supplies;
  • Maintaining administrative requirements for the site vehicle fleet;
  • Managing ingoing and outgoing mail in a prompt and accurate manner;
  • Preparing and formatting documents and reports as required;
  • Coordinating meetings, medical bookings and other relevant appointments.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative team in an administration role in an industrial setting is essential;
  • Excellent communication skills to address inquiries and provide accurate information;
  • An attentive, friendly and professional demeanor at all times;
  • Knowledge of purchasing systems is highly advantageous;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills;
  • Proven high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is crucial for success in this role.
