Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support our legal workstreams associated with the implementation of APRA's Prudential Standard CPS 230 - Operational Risk Management.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal advice on obligations arising under CPS 230, manage legal risk, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
  • Advise on internal governance frameworks and risk policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in law
  • Current unrestricted practising certificate as an Australian Legal Practitioner
  • Extensive post-admission experience working in the area of superannuation or financial services
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth and State legislation related to financial services
