The Role:

This position requires a person-centred approach, recognising that leisure and recreational experiences are essential for all individuals. You will facilitate tailored programs that cater to the needs of consumers with a focus on improving quality of life.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualised support and assistance to ensure participants engage with meaningful activities.
  • Facilitating individual client choice, decision making, and participation when developing and managing recreational programs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver activities that promote psychological, spiritual, social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.
  • Ensuring high standards of care, including suitable programs and continuous improvement.
  • Developing and implementing day-to-day support plans in consultation with the team leader.
