Australian Government Lawyer – Commercial Projects

We are seeking a Commercial Legal Advisor to join our Australian Government team in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with 2-5 years PAE experience to work on significant government projects, procurements, and contracts.
The Role
- Advise on major government projects and procurement processes from approach to market release to negotiations and contract signature.
- Work collaboratively with partners, lawyers, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal advice.
- Support the achievement of Australian Government requirements and objectives.
Requirements
- Strong interest in working on Australian Government transactions.
- Background in project and program work and/or ICT contracting.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with clients and other parties.
- Ability to draft clear and concise communications.
