We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our Australian Government team in Canberra. This role involves advising on significant government projects, including capability acquisition and sustainment, ICT, and complex goods and/or services procurement and contracting. You will be working closely with partners and other lawyers to deliver high-quality legal advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on government projects, including capability acquisition and sustainment, ICT, and complex goods and/or services procurement and contracting.
- Work closely with partners and other lawyers to deliver high-quality legal advice.
- Support the achievement of government requirements and objectives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2-5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, preferably in a commercial legal role.
- A strong interest in working on government transactions.
- Background in project and program work and/or ICT contracting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with clients and other parties.
- Ability to draft clear and concise communications.
Candidates should have the ability and willingness to apply for an AGSVA Baseline clearance (or hold a Baseline clearance).
